The house at Shatterwell Shoots.
The only account of this is a tradition. Within living memory there was a
hole in the wall outside, where it was said the topers rested their cups.
There were also steps leading to a footpath to Dancing Lane. Alas ! this
path has gone out of use. - Inns of the
