First we have - Rob Alexander Tillcock:
This is Rob. Alexander Tillcock, City of London Policeman, in his uniform as President of City of London Cricket Team.
He bowled W. G. Grace out at Lords - this is documented. **
Robert A. Tillcock , became a Chief Inspector, and lived at Snow Hill Police Station. The twins were born there. I wonder what it must have been like for the family living over the police station. London was a very different place in l847 onwards with the market on Cheapside etc. He died in l888 and is buried in Cheshunt, Herts; his funeral cortege went from the City of London to Cheshunt. - where his parents lived. They were Bakers/Grocer Shop keepers. **

Next we have son - Edward S Tillcock:
Edward S Tillcock is the son of Rob Alex Tillcock; born 30th August 1863, at 38 Watling Street, in the City of London. He becomes the licensee of the "Two Brewers" in Gough Street sometime after 1891. Alongside is his wife Annie, in later years - with their daughter Dorothy. **
This is Richard B Tillcock, son of Edward, grandson of Robert Alexander. He is listed as the next licensee of the "Two Brewers" and eventually the "Two Blue Posts" - but meantime earns himself a gallantry medal in WW1. He is a well respected publican, and earns his respect through "doing" for others - see his lifes work **
