An Uncooked ham - Arthur Christopher Brown, licensee of the Royal Oak public house, Waterloo street, Finsbury, was fined a total of £45, with five guineas costs (or six weeks imprisonment) at Old street Police Court for obtaining 12 and a half pounds of uncooked ham contrary to the Rationing Order and for illegally supplying it to Harry George Miller, a GPO cleaner.
