Another of my dad's pubs and we lived there until 1960. My father was Thomas Arthur Crow who had earlier been at the Turks Head, Bethnal Green. More anecdotal evidence, the building next door used to be a Midland Bank, on the dividing wall from the front to the back of the pub (saloon bar and lounge) there were floor to ceiling beatiful ceramic tile pictures depicting Robin Hood, Little John, Maid Marion, Friar Tuck and I think Will Scarlet and others, they were really something to see and I understand they were there from when the building went up. His last pub was at the Railway Bell, Mitcham. *
