My fifth Great Grand Uncle, Edward FORDHAM, was the keeper of the above
hotel/inn/public house. He states as much in the declaration of his nephew,
John Savory Fordham's, Will and Probate in May 1827. In the Old Bailey
proceedings of 11 Sept 1828, he declares he is the keeper of the Queens Head
public house, Hoxton. He again declares he is the keeper of public house
known by the sign of Queens Head of Hoxton Old Town in the County of
Middlesex, victualler in his Will of Oct 1829. **+
