There is later a beer house 105 Brick lane from about 1842, until about 1869; this is roughly at the junction with St John street. This is named as the Ship in the Sun Fire Office insurance records, where it is given as "corner of St John Street" (modern Grimby Street), but it is the Old Ship in an 1843 Directory *.
