Updates on the old Barley Mow / Baron of Beef in Bridge Street. Listed are my Great Great Grandfather James Barson Sebley, Great Grandfather Harry and various Great Uncles & Aunts.
There is some confusion over the names of the pubs. James Barson Sebley had trained as a publican in Shoreditch then came back to CAMBRIDGE to take over the Baron of Beef at 25 Bridge Street. At some point he turned this into a Tea Rooms & Ham shop (now Cafe Rouge). The Baron of Beef then re-appeared at 19 Bridge Street, its current location. The Barley Mow disappeared a long time ago. ***
