My ggrandfather had his name above the door of The Free Traders; which he ran with my gggrandmother and their four sons that served all in WW2. I have photos the way it looked inside long ago; although the building has now changed. . There used to be many people who went in there. My ggrandfather was C J Paine. He had other pubs as well and one day, including possibly that at 152 Shadwell High Street. **
